2025 Race Season Review: December

Indoor Progress & Looking Ahead 🏁

December is always a slightly different month. With MSUK club seasons finished, there are fewer big race weekends. So lets close the year out with more reflection, and a chance to look at where the year has taken us — and where it’s heading next.

Even so, there was still racing to be done… and a big decision to share.

December – Indoor Race League, Farnborough

Progress Every Week

The final racing of 2025 came indoors, with three more Race League nights at TeamSport Farnborough.

Across the three rounds, the progress was coming:

Week 1: Finished 4th
Week 2: Finished 3rd
Week 3: Finished 2nd

Each week built on the last — learning, adapting, and finding more pace.

The final round was a standout. After qualifying on pole, Harvey spun early in the race and dropped back to 10th. What followed was a brilliant recovery drive, working back through the field to finish P2.

That drive earned Driver of the Day, and it felt like a fitting way to end the year — showing race craft, composure, and determination right to the last flag of 2025. A really nice Christmas twist was Lego F1 Car gifts as awards for the

Looking Ahead to 2026 – A Big Step Forward

As the year comes to a close, it’s time for a big announcement.

We’ve made the decision to sell Harvey’s Cadet / Honda karting equipment and confirm a move into Inter Rotax for 2026.

At this stage, Harvey is:

Too light to move up to Juniors outdoors
Too old for Cadets, now that the Honda Inter category exists

In the south of the UK, and with MSUK not currently supporting grids for an affordable pathway into Honda Inters, the reality is that Inter Rotax is the only way to access competitive, structured racing.

It’s a big step:

A new chassis to learn
A new engine to acquire
And a whole new set of challenges

But it’s the right next step in the journey.

As part of this move, we also have sponsorship opportunities available for 2026 — and we’re excited about what the future holds.

2025 – A Year to Remember

Looking back across the season, 2025 delivered more than we could have asked for:

Race wins and podiums across multiple championships
Progression through NATSKA, Club100, and BIKC
NATSKA National Champion
A second consecutive BIKC National Finals podium
Three years in a row qualifying for the National Finals
First steps into Inter (outdoor) and Junior (indoor) racing
Electric endurance racing with Greenpower F24
Growth off-track through creativity, engineering, and leadership
And memories made with friends, family, and rivals alike

From sleeping in the van, to racing at iconic circuits, to standing on national podiums — it’s been a year full of learning, resilience, and progress.
